Broader than Broadmead

On the day that Cabot Circus and all
it’s corporate guff comes to town, why not support some Bristol Fashion
that’s a bit more homegrown? Guerrilla Galleries opens it latest
exhibition on the very same day.

Showcasing a mix of Bristol,
UK and international graffiti and street artists, you’ll be able to buy
one-off canvasses and limited edition prints from the likes of Mr Jago,
Inkie, Dora, China Mike and Zase and there are many more established
artists and emerging new talents also exhibiting.

Gallery owner Julian Monaghan says: "Just like the intrepid explorer Cabot I love rum, but I can’t stand the circus."

Once
he sobered up he also said: "Street art is the new movement in the art
world right now. From Thursday, you’ll be treated to exciting and
original pieces of art created by some the best graffiti and street
artists around today."

The preview night is on 25 September,
between 7-10pm at 140-142 Gloucester Road. Drinks will be provided by
the usual pissed off minions.

The exhibition will run for a month.
